NALSAR University of Law have reportedly written to the Vice-Chancellor

Around 450 students from NALSAR University of Law have reportedly written to the Vice-Chancellor, asking the university to reconsider the proposed invitation. The university has not yet announced the convocation date or officially confirmed CJI Surya Kant’s presence. NALSAR has traditionally invited the sitting CJI to address graduating students. The latest objection follows the students’ earlier solidarity with the Delhi protesters and comes amid a wider debate over judicial accountability and civil liberties.
