Woman barred from Georgia Garba over her Muslim name, echoing 2018 row and sparking inclusion debate

A woman on TikTok claims she was denied entry to a Garba event at Shree Shakti Mandir in Lake City, Georgia, USA, because of her “Muslim name". This follows a similar allegation in 2018, when astrophysicist Karan Jani alleged he was denied entry to a Garba event at the same temple in the Atlanta area.
