Uttarakhand Police has alleged that the constable who resigned from his job at Jantar Mantar in the presence of the CJP founding president has a criminal background. According to the police, the constable was involved in illegally occupying people's land in association with a gangster. The police further claimed that he has previously served time in jail and is currently out on bail. The department has now said it will initiate departmental action against the constable.
