The captain of an Air India Phuket-Delhi flight that encountered turbulence on August 4 may have tested positive for psychoactive substances, according to multiple reports. Sources in Air India however, said the test results have not been shared with it and did not confirm or deny the reported result. Both pilots have reportedly been removed from duty pending an investigation into the flight’s sudden loss of altitude.
