UP cancels government employees' leave ahead of Diwali and Chhath

Uttar Pradesh government has cancelled leave for government officials across the state ahead of Diwali, Chhath, and Dev Deepawali. The government ordered round-the-clock security arrangements, 24/7 surveillance of markets and temples, and social media monitoring.
