The Hindu apologizes for front-page advertisement promoting Gurmeet Ram Rahim

The Hindu newspaper has apologized for publishing a front-page advertisement promoting Dera Sacha Sauda chief and rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, following public backlash. Dainik Bhaskar, which also ran the advertisement, has not apologized.
