A Delhi court has acquitted former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in the sexual harassment case filed by women wrestlers. The verdict comes after a prolonged legal battle that followed nationwide protests by several of India’s top wrestlers. Reacting to the judgment, wrestler Vinesh Phogat said the wrestlers were deeply disappointed and would challenge the acquittal in a higher court, insisting that their fight for justice is far from over.
