Schoolchildren in Basti’s Rudhauli area stopped Samajwadi Party MLA Rajendra Chaudhary’s convoy over a muddy, waterlogged road they use to reach school. Reports published on 20 August say the children showed Chaudhary the stretch, where monsoon mud leaves their uniforms and shoes dirty and makes the walk difficult.
