Late-night talks between CJP representatives and government officials

Following late-night talks between CJP representatives and government officials, the Bihar government formally announced the withdrawal of cases linked to the paper leak protests and ordered the release of arrested protesters. Assam also issued a similar notification. CJP spokespersons said the Centre and other NDA-ruled states were expected to issue their own guarantees, including assurances that no future action would be taken against protesters who participated in the movement.
