Jharkhand CID raided the JSSC office in Ranchi

After 24 days of student protests over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, Jharkhand CID raided the JSSC office in Ranchi and questioned officials as part of its investigation. Protesters under the JPSC-JSSC Reforms Manch had been demanding cancellation of the JSSC-CGL exam, a CBI probe and wider recruitment reforms. The Jharkhand government has since cancelled the JSSC-CGL examination and announced investigations into multiple exams linked to the controversy. For many students, the CID raid is being seen as validation of concerns they had been raising for weeks.
