BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma has sparked a political row with his remarks about the moon and Eid celebrations. Sharma claimed that the moon belongs to Sanatan Dharma because it rests on Lord Shiva's forehead. He also said Muslims should celebrate Eid while chanting praises of Sanatan Dharma.
