AAP alleges Rs 90-crore bicycle procurement scam under Vidya Vahini Yojana

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs rode bicycles to the Delhi Legislative Assembly, alleging a Rs 90-crore scam in the purchase of 1.3 lakh bicycles for Class 9 girls under the Vidya Vahini Yojana. AAP claimed the government paid Rs 6,957 per bicycle when the retail cost is Rs 4,200. The BJP has denied the allegations.
