Tamil Nadu Minister and TVK leader Aadhav Arjuna spoke against the proposed delimitation exercise in the Assembly today. He argued that population-based seat redistribution could weaken Tamil Nadu’s political voice and increase the dominance of northern states. Arjuna also said power should not remain concentrated in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar or Gujarat, and argued that a future Prime Minister could emerge from the South, including Tamil Nadu.
