A delivery executive was assaulted by a group of men in Bengaluru’s Yelahanka New Town early Saturday morning following a language-related confrontation. According to the FIR, Basavaraj was returning home after a delivery during the wee hours when the accused allegedly abused him. He reportedly told them he did not understand Hindi and asked them to speak in Kannada. The argument escalated, prompting Basavaraj to call 112. His friend Ashok arrived at the spot, but the FIR alleges that four more men joined the group and assaulted both of them with their hands and a wooden log. Police have arrested four people in connection with the alleged assault and are investigating the incident.
