Sri Lankan man sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia for blasphemy over social media post

A Saudi Arabian court has sentenced a Sri Lankan national, Anojan, to death for blasphemy against Islam following a social media dispute. Although initially sentenced to prison and a fine, prosecutors escalated the case to Sharia law. Sri Lanka's president has promised diplomatic efforts to seek a pardon.
