Six months later, 20-year-old US student and national-level basketball player Yashvendra Singh lost his life after a car crashed into an open drain in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. Different cities, different victims, same story: exposed drains, missing safety measures, and lives cut short. How many more deaths will it take before authorities act?
